Privacy

We collect as little as we can, and we say what we do with it.

Letters on the Rocks is run by a group of friends in the Netherlands. This notice covers this website and the waitlist. Last updated [DATE].

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we store your email address, your confirmation that you're 18 or older, your consent to hear about new editions, and the time you signed up. That's all. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or third-party trackers.

Why

To write to you about new editions and, once the Club starts sending envelopes, to ask whether you'd like one. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form.

Where it's kept

On a server we run ourselves. [HOSTING LOCATION: country or region of the server.] We don't sell, rent or share your details with anyone.

How long

Until you ask us to remove it, or until the waitlist is closed, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [CONTACT EMAIL] and we'll do it promptly. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Later

If the Club opens to members, we'll need a postal address to send envelopes. We'll update this notice before we ask for one.
